The only thing small town about this book store is its location. The staff is very knowledgeable and on top of what is important to readers today. They keep their finger on the pulse of what is up-and-coming both in nonfiction and fiction and if the book is not on the Shelf they can get it for you without any difficulty. I don't live in Seaside, but I still consider Beach books my local bookstore. Most of the year I call and request books and they mail them to me at my home address in Alaska. You don't have to live in Seaside to make Beach books your local bookstore.

What a fun place to stop. Great gift ideas and a chance to pick something up from a local artist or winery too. It's a gem of a place not to be missed. Wonderful woman who owns/runs the shop. I purchased flavored teas, tea towel, artist note cards and some local honey. Prices are good. Parking available and restrooms.
