Museum Beelden aan Zee focuses exclusively on contemporary sculpture. The museum was founded in 1994 and now holds nearly one thousand sculptures and several hundreds of medals. This is the only Dutch museum which specializes in exhibiting sculpture. We visited the museum during the last weekend of the Niki de Saint Phalle exhibition. It is cheerful, colourful and very attractive to both adults and children. The main hall is filled with revolving circles on which sculptures rotate and the exhibition is well attended. Good atmosphere. In the south hall an exhibition of work by Klaas Gubbels can be seen covering his lifetime oeuvre.

If you like to stroll by the seaside, this is the place to be, lively, loads of beach restaurants, shops, bars, a shopping mall and even a casino. Loads of amusement for both adults and children, a Ferris wheel for awesome panoramic photos and excitement, in summer time thrilling bungee jump and slide along the pier, miles of beach front to enjoy both during summer (best time) and also in the winter.
