Daniel from XO took us to Siesta Key Rum Distillery and various points of interest around Sarasota. The distillery is a very friendly, informative and well-run tour with a great tasting room and loads of funny anecdotes and stories. Daniel took us through town to a number of historical buildings and had wonderful stories to share of the people and times that built Sarasota.

I wa so excited to sign up for this class while vacationing in Naples. Giuliano and Lael were perfect hosts and welcomed us into their kitchen with warmth and ease. We each had a cutting board and knife and 10 of us stood around the kitchen island, chopping and watching the Italian Master as he talked with us through a fabulous White Asparagus Risotto, a delicious Lamb Braise and a colorful Zucchini with Mint and Basil! We made Strawberry Gelato in his Italian Ice Cream maker and it tasted as smooth and flavorful as at a parlor! Truffle , their cute pup entertained us from time to time. We sat down at a beautifully set table complete with colorful Italian glassware and Giuliano and Lael joined us. It was a delightful time! I'll be back when next in Naples.
