A gorgeous church built for the community that has become the centerpoint of the area. The church can be seen for miles around as it sits up high on a rocky peninsula. The church glows at night and makes for spectacular photography work.

This beach is very scenic, clean, and easily accessed. The sands are a beautiful white soft sand. The beach slopes down at a fairly steep slope more towards the water as this is definitely a surfers area. Looking up the beach to the west, you can see the iconic church siting high up on the rock peninsula. There is an excellent restaurant / bar Casa da Praia with great food and drink - wifi too. Don't miss it.
