We spent three weeks on 30A and were thrilled to find the Yoga Haus. Marie was our instructor and she is phenomenal! Some of her classes she takes at a steady pace and others are quick and challenging! What we loved was that Marie shared her perspective on yoga, life, well being while calling out and demonstrating the various poses. For each pose, she gave great detail on where we should be applying weight, posture, alignment, how we might feel the pose, and how to either minimize or maximize the pose. Marie made it clear that each pose was an invitation and we individually understood our body, and our needs so her instructions were a suggestion not an expectation. And we were always welcome to return to a comfort zone of child’s pose at anytime. Her instruction was clear, and encouraging. It was spiritual as well as physical. Once back home, at yoga, we really missed Marie’s instruction.
