Mercadillo Las Dalias

Welcome to Las Dalias, a fascinating oasis of colour, peace, music, and dreams in the heart of Sant Carles. The market, which was born on Valentine's Day 1985 with five stalls which eventually have given way to the more than 300 stalls that Las Dalias currently boasts. On Saturdays in August, Las Dalias can attract around 20,000 visitors. Opening hours: the Saturday market is open all year round, from April to October from 10 am to 8 pm and from November to March from 10 am to 6 pm.

Visited the market with my family for a little bit of retail therapy on a Saturday morning. Got there by taxi (from the edge of Santa Eulialia it was only 13 euros) and spend a happy 2 hours wandering around the myriad of stalls. Glad to have got there early as it started getting busy but the shopping was fun, some genuinely good and different things to buy and all regarded it as a good way of spending a few hours. Suggest you take water with you - the cafes there are nice but pricy.
