Hollerbach's Art Haus

Christina and Linda Hollerbach originally founded the Art Haus as a gallery and creative studio, where guests could create and collect original art. Due to increasing enthusiasm for German culture and a desire to provide additional gemutlichkeit to the wonderful guests of our other family businesses in Downtown Sanford (Hollerbach’s Willow Tree Cafe and the Magnolia Square Market), we now offer imported and custom German clothing and accessories! Now called Hollerbach's Outfitters.

The Museum of Seminole County History

The Museum of Seminole County History highlights Seminole County, the historical gateway to interior Central Florida. The area has gone through periods of great importance militarily and as the area's transportation hub, A pole barn houses two tractors and other agricultural equipment and more recently as an agricultural leader. The main building is the original "Old Folks Home". This one-of-a-kind building has become an endearing part of the history of Seminole County. It was constructed in 1926 when the county was only 12 years old to serve as living quarters for those people who were in need of a place to stay or had no one to care for them. In June of 1999, the Museum was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Exhibits, artifacts, maps, documents, photographs and special events all tell the stories of Seminole County's inhabitants, their lives, lineages and local legends. Join us for an engaging tour through the past that includes: Native American Indian artifacts Early Forts and Settlements The development of railroads and steamship transportation Agriculture and industries of the region 19th and 20th Century Decorative Arts Life in Seminole County towns in the 1800s and 1900s The Old Folks Home (built in 1926) Research materials and maps Traveling Exhibits Seminole County Historical Society
