Trinidad de Cuba

Well preserved area for those interested in the architecture although some may dislike the original paving of whatever stones were laying around a few hundred years ago. It’s easy to trip. Lots of resturants as well as shops and historic spots. Don’t buy the cigars from street vendors, they are fakes made with banana leaves.

We visited the museum of the Struggle Against Bandits, which is located close to Plaza Mayor. We made a guided tour in this interesting museum in an old couvent; in the exhibition, there are simply and clear displays regarding Cuba history. We climbep to the top of the tower, allowing us to have wonderful panoramic viewpoints on Trinidad and on the surroundings!

Parque Serafin Sanchez

This colonial plaza is lined with lovely old buildings in gorgeous colours. People were promenading with their families and even the little kids were out. It was lovely. There's lots of lovely street art in Sancti Spiritus - just as in other parts of Cuba. I found it very uplifting and really enjoyed this aspect of this culture.
