On our way from Santa Cruz to Viña Vik Hotel we stopped to visit Casa Silva. This was a Viña we did not know. It was a very nice surprise. The installations are very large with bodega, restaurant and a very nice shop where we were able to sample their wines without a tour. They are still considered part of Colchagua Valley. We tasted several Carmenere including a rose and decided to take one bottle of Gran Terroir home. It was a sunny Sunday in November 2018 and complete families took advantage of riding bikes around the vineyards. The restaurant looked very nice. If you happen be in the area be sure to visit. Their wines will surprise you. ****
