We (my husband and I ) had an amazing time in the Galapagos Islands! We did this trip at the end of October 2020 after the stressful lockdown covid months, so we were looking forward to unwind and visit for the first time the enchanted islands as our vacation. The tours designed by Rebecca Adventure were perfect and customized to our taste and needs. We visited Santa Cruz and Isabela and it was perfect because there weren't many tourists at the time due to the pandemic. We were truly impressed with all the activities, the wildlife and the services provided by our tour guides. We got to see most of the land and marine fauna that we expected, including hammerhead sharks. It was without a doubt one of the most memorable trips of our lives. We highly recommend Rebecca Adventure as your tour agency for the Galapagos and Ecuador. Biosecurity measures were very well respected on the islands, so its safe to travel! If you're looking to come to Ecuador and the Galapagos this is the time, still less tourists, the wildlife is truly impressive and besides life is short, take risks and ENJOY IT!

Did the Pacific Discovery tour, 7-day motorcycle trip. This operation is unbelievable. They have thought of every detail from the rural farm, cocoa forests and fruit plantation stops where we got some hands-on learning from passionate, local experts to the small, super-friendly accommodations nestled in the rainforests with waterfalls and rope-swings. I was blown away at every turn. Ask for "Andy" >> the super-charismatic wonder guide who is so easy-going, caring, and authentic, that he makes you feel like his lifelong best friend after the first evening. This was the best boys trip I've ever been on. (And I have been on a lot of them!) 7 days of adrenalin pumping experience. You will be pleasantly exhausted every night and you will not be let down.

This was a fantastic experience. Camilo Andrade, my guide for the day, is a consummate professional. He led the way at a comfortable pace, opting for an alternative route for the summit scramble that was both more interesting/challenging, and safer by avoiding traveling below where others could cause rockfall toward us. He carefully monitored the weather and our pace and got us off the top of the mountain well before a thunderstorm started, and then again picked an alternate route that got us off of the exposed ridgeline trail and on to a safer route during the lighning storm. It was a very enjoyable day with Cam and I highly recommend him and Latin American Alpine. While I could have winged it on my own, the lack of local knowledge would have made it far more of a challendge, and potentially dangerous with the afternoon thunderstorm on an exposed ridgeline. Cam's guidance absolutely made the trip a better experience and was well worth it.

Local guide with good English. Good factual information on main sites of interest. Had driver in private car, which, given the horrendous traffic gridlock and lack of parking in Quito old town, was essential! Felt rushed though, with request for coffee stop after 2 hours, dismissed.

My friend and I had an absolutely amazing time with our guide Daniel. He answered all our questions about the area and Ecuador in general. Great conversationalist - very knowledgeable and passionate and his English is fantastic. Loved that this was a private tour so we could go exactly at the pace we wanted and ask all our questions. Guango Reserve is simply breathtaking - so many different kinds of birds and trees and so beautiful down by the river. The hot springs are relaxing and pleasant and clean. This whole tour is a great value for the money. Daniel is also a very safe driver which we really appreciated given the traffic situation in Quito. This was my favorite day we spent in Quito. Daniel is excellent at his job and we learned so much from him. Returned to our hotel relaxed and so happy! I cannot recommend this experience highly enough!!!

Daniel was a great guide and the drive from Quito was beautiful. The thermal springs and spa itself were amazing! I did the 45 min deep body massage and I highly recommend. If you go on a weekend, I would recommend leaving early, Daniela will work with you to figure out what time you want to leave and how long you want to stay, he is very flexible. If you're interested in Spa treatments, I would schedule them in advance or as soon as you arrive so that you can get the time slot you want. I waited a few hours and it started to get a little more crowded (not full but there were others there) and I hate to wait til the afternoon for my massage. Overall, it was a very relaxing day.

I spent two days touring with Friends Expeditions - one day on a tour of Quito's old town and a second day tour to Otavalo. I was blessed with having Marcos for my guide, and Alix for my driver. I came to know and love Quito after our first day, especially as Marcos shared little tidbits about the city, the people, and the food that I would not have discovered on my own. I was there as a photographer, so Marcos did an excellent job guiding me to some great locations for photos. Alix was always waiting for us with a big smile. It was a joy to share both lunch and dinner with the two of them. I haven't planned on visiting Otavalo, but after our first day together, we all agreed that a trip to the markets in Otavalo would be the ticket for an exceptional second day! You can't go wrong with Friends Expeditions!

We had a great day trip from Quito to Cotopaxi with our guide Daniel. He picked us up from our hotel on time at 8am and drove expertly to Cotopaxi taking a scenery road which allowed us to appreciate the geography of the inter-valley region. The drive took about 1.5 hours. His approach takes you around the volcanoes from all angles. Daniel was truly passionate about Ecuador and very knowledgeable about wildlife and vegetation of the region. He stopped plenty of times for awesome picture opportunities. We hiked from the parking lot (15K ft) to the refuge (16K ft) doing the zig-zag approach and experienced no issues with altitude sickness whatsoever (he stopped by a kiosko where we could buy coca candy and leaves if needed before entering the park). The weather was awful as we ascended, with small hail and dust from the strong winds, but he was patient and set the pace perfectly for us to successfully reach the refuge. We grabbed hot chocolate up in the refuge (2.5 per cup, bring change) and warmed up before going back down. On our way back to Quito, we stopped by an authentic local restaurant around 3pm where we had a soup, a pork dish, and an ice cream. Back to the hotel by 5pm promptly. This is a great experience for a Quito escapade which you should consider if you're looking to do something based off the city.
