What an enjoyable evening, from being picked up at 5 pm to when we were dropped off just before 11. We've been to Bali several times but this time we tried things we had never seen before. We started with two places in Ubud near where we are staying and then headed off to the suburbs of Denpasar for places which were off the beaten track and only used by locals in the know Agung was the perfect guide with in-depth knowledge of food, customs and the back roads. The places we visited were all different as was the food we tried in each place. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely and would recommend Agung as your guide.

After all, reaching the waterfalls can be confusing if you aren’t used to it. Moreover, the local guide knows the exact spot to jump or slide so it is basically for safety reason. And continue visit Wanagiri Hidden Hill to take best picture for swing. Next place you will see the Handara Gate is a beautiful gate with an amazing view of Beckground, very famous for taking photos at the gate with Balinese architecture. The last stop you will see the Coffee Plantations to watch and taste the balinese coffe and Tea.

We booked this on viator.com and it was superb. The driver collected us from our hotel in Nusa Dua and drove us up the coast to Padang. There we were greeted with drinks and clear instructions of the day's events. Once measured up for fins and masks we hopped on the boat. A short trip to the next bay saw us dive in roughly 1m deep waters. So many beautiful fish were in arm's reach. We had a good hour of floating about. Wearing a life jacket also helped with buoyancy. From there we jumped back in the boat to Blue Lagoon. This was a deeper lagoon where we saw a whole different variety of sea life including stingrays, sea turtles and eels. Our guide was exceptional as he was so experienced with how to locate the marine life. When we got back we had a lovely lunch and a fresh shower before being driven back to our hotel for late afternoon. All in all, an excellent day out and great for anyone of any snorkeling experience.

The Aling-Aling waterfall has height approximately 35 meters above the ground and has its own uniqueness where from the top of the waterfall, it is divided into 2 side-by-side waterfalls. The waterfall on the right has a bigger discharge than the right one. The Aling-Aling waterfall is falling from a steep cliff surrounded by lush trees. The water discharge made a basin pond with the depth of 4 meters below that usually used by the tourists to swim or just play water and enjoy the fresh water from Aling-Aling waterfall. Not far away from the Aling-Aling waterfall, you can see several smaller waterfalls which are Pucuk waterfall, Twin waterfall, Camera waterfall, Canging waterfall, Dedari waterfall, and Kroya waterfall. Because some of these waterfalls are smaller and not too high, most tourists usually do free jump from the top of the waterfall.

We contacted Putu per email as the office in Canggu is closed now. He answered immediately and although he was oversees, he helped us to organize our trip. We booked the private sekumpul waterfall tour. Our driver picked us up at 8am. He was very funny lovely man who shared so much about Bali life in such a funny way. He brought us safely to the waterfall area where we met our tour guide Dodi. He made the tour just unforgettable. Such a genuine, loving, warm hearted man with so much knowledge and a great English. He grew up in that area and knew every corner of the jungle. He brought us to two different areas with waterfalls- Fiji waterfalls and then sekumpul. On the way there we caught a rain and he wanted me to wear his flip flops as my shoes were not safe on the rocks. He was walking barefoot for half of the tour although I insisted it to give him back his flip flops. He is also such a great photographer and captured our moments. We had so much fun on the natural water slide He brought us to. And swims in the waterfalls lakes and a romantic lunch on a tree house in the end. And the views.... balm for the soul. Although we had to drive two times two hours on that day to get to the waterfalls and back to Canggu, it was all worth it! Such a beautiful unforgettable day . Thank uuu

Best brunch so far ❤️❤️ The food was great, the place was soooo cozy and also the services was excellent. They had a very strict health protocol which is very important nowaday. I should’ve come back next time ????
