When the temp hits triple digits in the city, that's when I head for the canyons. I love Big Cottonwood. It's a great place to hike, has beautiful scenery and if you have little kids or elderly friends and family, there's a nice gentle walk at the top, by Brighton Ski resort, around Silver Lake. If you go at dusk, you're likely to see Moose as you stroll the boardwalk around the lake. There are interpretive signs along the way, restrooms and a small information center. If you're hungry, stop at Silver Fork Lodge for a bite to eat, just minutes from the lake as you descend the canyon.

Dang what an escape room! This escape room checked all the boxes and is well worth the $35/person asking price. We did the Sherlock one and wow so many Knick-knacks, twists and puzzles we made it out with 8 SECONDS to spare. The adrenaline rush was incredible when we were solving the last couple locks with 30 seconds to go. Truly an amazing experience that I’ll never forget.

This was a game changer for our skiing experience! My husband and I, both 47, and our 14-year-old son wanted to ski while on vacation from Texas. We have skied a handful of times, and after some bad falls were hesitant to go again. Jim and the ski bike made this the best experience of our entire trip! He rode with us all day long, making sure we were confident every step of the way. He gave our son tips and advice as well. He made the entire experience safe and something to build on for future ski bike adventures. I can’t recommend him highly enough! In all my travels, I have never had anyone give us this much personal attention to making sure our day was perfect! Thank you Jim from the bottom of our hearts!

Getout Games

The most immersive escape room Utah has to offer! You and your friends can choose from a variety of exciting missions: pull off a heist, shut down a nuclear reactor, explore an Egyptian tomb, or find a zombie antidote! Getout Games are challenging, but not impossible. It's the escape room Utah families, friends, and businesses love!

WE HAD A BLAST! The whole experience was so much fun. The ambiance was perfect the room itself made you feel like you were actually in an Egyptian tomb, complete with yellow flickering (battery operated) hand held torches. Our guide (her name starts with a C I think, but I can't remember) was excellent! I will definitely be visiting again to try one of their other rooms.
