Lingering over pain au chocolat in a sidewalk café, relaxing after a day of strolling along the Seine and marveling at icons like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe… the perfect Paris experience combines leisure and liveliness with enough time to savor both an exquisite meal and exhibits at the Louvre. Awaken your spirit at Notre Dame, bargain hunt at the Marché aux Puces de Montreuil or for goodies at the Marché Biologique Raspail, then cap it all off with a risqué show at the Moulin Rouge.

Meiso is the first floatation center in Paris. It is neither spa nor beauty institute, but a place for relaxation and introspection. Their cabins are unique in the world made in Paris. It incorporates all the elements you need for your journey. It’s a ship for voyaging, a crusade for the spirit. Silence or sound, light or darkness. Live escape game Paris...There are jails without bars from where it's difficult to escape , there are adventures to live that can't be forgotten.
We have done many escape rooms in the US and one in Vienna, Austria, but we were a little worried to do one in Paris, since we don’t speak French. This was no problem at all! The staff was so friendly and there is a full English version of both experiences. We did the Balkans escape and my husband, 14 year old twin girls and I made it out with 33 seconds to spare! We did have a little help from our game master, because this was quite a challenging room, but he handled us perfectly! At the end, we felt very accomplished and energized! This is a great break in Paris from museums and cafes! I can’t wait to do Cannibal Island during our next trip to Paris!

Before the start of the transport strike on 5 Dec we took the opportunity to visit the twice weekly fresh market in the 18th arrondissement, just off the metro station at Barbes. This market is also known as the Arab market due to the demographic of the neighbourhood. Wow! the produce! The prices! Incredible. Weighed down with multiples of everything (2 pineapples for €2!) we jumped back on the metro within the 2 hour window - so a free ride home.
