St Francis Links

When the first review was submitted on our behalf, they listed St Francis Links as Jack Nicklaus at St Francis Links IN Port Elizabeth. through pretty good promotion and customer awareness, we have managed to get some great reviews and even the 2014 Certificate of Excellence - rated No. 2 with 5-starts behind the great attraction Shamwari. However, we are located outside Port Elizabeth in St Francis Bay. I am very happy with the reviews; however, if your search St Francis Links in St Francis Bay, you will not find us. If you search attractions, it asked for a city...when I search St Francis Bay, South Africa, St Francis Links will not appear. Please advise how I can maximize my presence with tripadvisor. I am not unhappy - just seeking the best Portal.

My family and I just experienced the most wonderful time at St Francis Links this week. Jeff Clause and his team were amazing hosts and the golf course is an absolute 'Must Play." It is a challenging golf course but it is very playable. In our 4 ball our handicaps varied from a scratch to 26 and we all enjoyed. For me, it is an exciting course and you need to pay attention when playing on the magnificent greens. It is a Jack Nicklaus design that has to be amongst the top Five in South Africa. The food in the clubhouse is excellent. We tried a variety of the most delicious meals all served by happy & attentive staff. It really was a Five Star Experience. Thank You Derek James

World renowned surfing spot!

Starting at the white lighthouse one can walk along this wide open beautiful beach for miles. Many surfers can be seen among the waves and it’s fun to watch them surf. This is a popular spot for dog walking too. For refreshments afterwards try Tradewinds which is just up the road.

A lovely walk to go on if you're in St Francis Bay. The coastline is beautiful! It's not too strenuous if you aren't fit either.

Port St Francis

Port St Francis is the only privately owned working harbour in SA. Come see what how the chokka fleet operates while enjoying a meal at any of the restaurants. Accommodation available. Beautiful views of the ocean.

Another great visit to this lovely part of South Africa , nice area well kept and safe and secure due to its location. Some very nice homes here and some on the canals are truly superb. We have only been off season avoiding the busier SA holiday periods and that suited all our party just fine. Local facilities good , nice pubs and restaurants with evrything you would need for a holiday on sale .

St Francis Bay Golf Club

Accommodated me as a visitor warmly, has an arrangement with many of the hotels/ accommodations in the area, so you qualify for a reduced green fee. Hired clubs, which were OK- mizuno , and had a round. Well maintained, greens were excellent and there's some lovely memorable holes 8th, 9th particularly. If your in the area, and fancy a round, st Francis bay must be considered, as it's a little less pretentious than others either locally or within 50 miles, very friendly club.
