Playa del Puerto De Sagunto

We have been in Puerto Sagunto in 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018. You always come cack to this city when you really enjoy a beautiful small beach with many amenities in their Maritime street. You can enjoy the sand and sea in the morning, leave your umbrella and folding chairs to go for lunch, and go back later. The are some trees near the Palencia River where we hang our hammock. Families pick this areas for picnics. This beach was the first in having a rescue drone to support lifeguards. Every year we can see all the quality and blue flags.

Sagunto Castle

Reviewed By EuropeanDiversity - Cologne, Germany

Although I visited Valencia a few times, I never came to Sagunto - for it's 'industrial port' image. The old town offers just the opposite: A huge Roman castle adjacent to a large old town with a Jewish nucleus, excellent sites and museums and several good restaurants. Plus: Easy to reach by train (30 min from Valencia). The castle itself has various parts that take a good hour to see. It was developed over centuries and illustrates the rich past of the region. The buildings are just as impressive as the views - all around.
