I went during an aerospace exhibition that was fun with airshows to compliment the museum. The museum itself is pretty small and I would only recommend it if you are really into airplanes. Although, I learned more about the Korean war in that tiny museum than I did in sixteen years of American education, so maybe more worth the visit than I originally stated. Then again, learning anything about the Korean war is more than I learned in school...

Jinjuseong

I was quite taken up by this attraction for it is well kept and beautiful! The commanding view over the meadering river was just magnificient!
KRW 2000 for the entrance fee is well worth paying for the historical attractions and the museum within this old fortress.
Tip: The Busan to Jinju express bus runs almost every 15 minutes, from Busan Seobu Bus Terminal (above. the Sasang Subway Station) to the Intercity Bus Terminal in Jinju. The fortress is within walking distance, west of this station on the northern shoreline of the river.

a quiet, serene temple set in Byongmyeongsan County Park, a nice mountain area. Make sure to visit Bongam Heritage, which is about an hour on foot through the woods. Sadly, no direct bus connection, but you can take a taxi from Gonyang, or walk from there along the river through the rice fields (6km, so about 90 minutes)

The temple is quite modern with different features. The biggest sight is the large Buddha lying on his side with another shrine inside, so you can walk in. There are also some cows that make sounds quite similar to the monk's drums.
Hiking trails to Waryongsan start here as well.

This museum was very well organized, and clean. This place was very good for children and man who was interested in aerospace science. Very good place.

National Jinju Museum

This museum is located inside Jinjuseong. Almost the whole museum is dedicated to one particular battle during one of the Japanese invasions (I want to say during the 1500's). If you are at the fortress and need to kill some time, take a look, but I recommend going behind the museum and shooting some arrows instead.
