For me it's always amazing to visit Russian Kremlins in different cities. The place is a part of the complex called the kremlin of Ryazan. The place is situated on top of a hill to be protected from invaders; and I was imagining how it was surrounded by water back in those times. A good place to plunge in the Russian history.

Russia (1) RYAZAN
Poetry as a conditioned reflex: Yesenin and Russia
by Zoran Slavić

We traveled through the early spring, 121 miles southeast of Moscow. To get into town Ryazan. To attend the Congress of Slavic literacy. In addition, of course to see the different face inside Russia. Waking up in a boarding house, which is actually a sanatorium to recover mid-level dignitaries from Ryazan, a city of 500,000 inhabitants. Walks. Fun? Who knows? In the dining room - breakfast. According plates, cutlery, and staff served see that the spirit of communist fifties of this century dominated. These are the recurrences of the Soviet Union! We see that a lot of military and modest and simple meal. Going into the city center. The place is a very socialist celebration, although it is now capitalism in Russia. Monument. Flowers. Military music. March-past. Children. Pigeons take off. Moreover, unbearable sun. The April, but warm and ideal for fainting.
The square is huge. We are late for the start of, and, not quite delicate, leaving before the end of the ceremony. In this we have wholeheartedly support from our hosts. Tourist guides. Those we arrived from Moscow. Before lunch, we start at the Historical Museum ethnological and historical-artistic tour through the region, which is named in the prospectus - Pride of the Ryazan land. Which would mean descriptive: traveling through sights of the region. It was the right thing. There he presented a very successful film and dramatic story of the battle from the Ryazan 1237th where the Mongols and Tartars destroyed the original city. The settlement, which we have arrived is therefore the newly Ryazan, about 50 miles away from the original the city, and the 1778. renamed to the old name. Thus city, which formerly competed in beauty with Novgorod and Kiev, had to start everything from beginning.
However, it did not seem to mind the creative energy of the Phoenix - the city
to give birth to a Yesenin, to cultivate the famous physiologist Pavlov Ivan, inspired the rebellious Solzhenitsyn Alexander and Konstantin Tsiolkovsky to inspire, creator of Russian missile technology. In addition, who knows how it would be in Ryazan not that the Mongol „Golden Horde'' destroyed the original settlement! Memorials
dedicated Saltikov-Shchedrin and Paustovski are also part of the same Russian word of references that we visited in Ryazan. On the evening of the same day, a mighty rain fell over the city. In the large but also very union-equipped concert hall, was held in ceremonial concert. Long-term, as in former times, is presented and a number of excellent players, singers and musicians from across the region.
On the way back to the hotel-sanatorium, felt a new, much more comfortable, the smell of disinfectants. Moreover, believe it or not, corridors and rooms were quickly re-painted. Therefore, that is the current Russia. New for old!? The next day, again sunny and warm, full of programs that attract and tired. Morning is devoted to visiting the Ryazan Kremlin.

A very important museum for any Russian I suppose since Pavlov was indeed a great man of science. It's very interesting. The museum gives the feel of the life of the late 18s and early 19s. It's devided in two parts: one about the house he lived (with all the attributes of the time he lived in) and the other about his scientific work.

Interesting monument on WWI with lots of remainders if the Italian army. It's easy to reach from Livek Road 605 going on towards Volce and quite a long time until the monument is on the right side. It's an easy climbe of approx 45-60 min with tremendous views over the nearby Mountains such as Krn.
