Wheather you’re looking for a quiet stroll, a run or a ride on your mountain bike this place covers the lot. Only a stones throw from the centre of Roskilde it’s within easy access. Take a packed lunch and spend a whole day, the mountain bike routes are also great

Lutzhøfts Købmandsgard is both a museum, but also a little store. More than 1,000 different items are available in the store, and the goods are copies of the original range in 1920. You are welcome to go behind the counter and look into the merchant's office as well as in the back room of grain, feed and grain weight. In the yard the warehouses from the 1700s and 1800s, where you can experience the atmosphere of the days when cobblestones, carriages and free-range chickens which were part of the urban environment.

Great Park with lots of greenery, a terrace, kids playground, water and difference of altitude. A good way to get from train station to the sea and viking Ship Museum.

Do the train ride from Copenhagen to the city of Roskilde (the oldest train line in Denmark). When you leave the train station you immediately see the 3 "giant" ceramic vases. They really do give the Horse Square a certain athmosphere.
