Gibson’s Steak House In Rosemont has become our favorite place to celebrate all family events for the past 12 years. The food is absolutely amazing! The steaks are nicely presented and the chefs will bend over backward to cook them exactly the way you like them. Personally, I prefer their Filet Mignon with blue cheese crust. It’s delicious! The sides are very large and would only order one for two adults. The asparagus is always grilled to perfection: crispy with a bit of charring. The deserts.... oh, the deserts! If you’re in town please do yourself a favor and taste their Oreo Crust Chocolate Moose Pie, which is as big as a quarter of a 10 inch round cake! Plenty to share with 5 people! My absolute favorite! The Pecan Pie and the Carrot cake are incredible as well! The service is top notch! Attentive waiters who know how to be present without hovering over you. The holiday decor is always beautiful and elegant! Tips: - Make a reservation if you want to get in during weekend dinners. Otherwise, be prepared to wait 1-2 hours and eat late. - Dress nicely if its a weekend or holiday time. - Come hungry! The portions are quite big. - Valet parking is best if you don’t want to walk for quite a distance. - Try their burgers at lunch: they’re absolutely delicious and the restaurant is not as busy as at dinner time.

While staying in Rosemont my husband and I went for a walk and found this FREE little museum. What a find. Hidden in a strip mall is a store front museum that was a private collection of the past mayor of Rosemont. Hummels are sweet little figurines of children from the art of Sister Berta Hummel. The collection is extensive

I was treated to some upfront and centre tickets for my birthday. Yes the chairs are crammed in against each other, so you make friends with your row mates pretty quick. I found the staff to be well presented and helpful. We were treated to drinks service and enjoyed the overall atmosphere. What's unique about this small venue is the way its divided? There is no space wasted on back rows. You get a great view of the stage front right in front, the sides, upstairs and all with a well priced drink in your hand.

The parking is easy, the trip to the park is easy, the pricing is amazing and much more. The Dogs put on a spectacular show all the time. Rosemont has a fantastic ballpark in Impact Field and I am glad to have gone in the summer.
