Terra

We are a cooking school and since the beginning we decided to focus on our clients’ expectations: a genuine Italian experience, the discovery of the best that the local Italian culinary tradition has to offer, an open dialogue with your chef, teacher and new friend. All the classes are hands-on, the chefs are always available to teach and help. The course is from 11am to 2pm, during the cooking class everything that has been cooked will be eaten. A wine pairing option can be added to the cooking class for an even richer experience. Terra Academy is just a few minutes away from Alba and conveniently placed in the Langhe area, a main tourist destination for wine and food enthusiasts.

We had such a wonderful time in our vineyard & tasting tour. We first visited the beautiful vineyards where we learned about the different types of grapes, how to grow them but also about the hazelnut trees. We then got a tour of the wine production process before moving to the tasting. It was the best wine we tried in the area. The pace and pairing for the tasting were very thoughtful. The food was great as well. All along Noemi, our host, replied to all our questions with a lot of patience, passion and attention.

Forget about nice marketing brochures, websites and other non-essential stuff, but instead get the truly authentic truffle hunt with some real experts and people passionate about this old tradition. This tour goes well beyond your truffle on the plate and will lead you into the beautiful countryside of Roddi together with a dog graduated from the Truffle University.
