We are fortunate to be walking distance to the trail- deer, birds, horses (as you go north) are plentiful. Sometimes, though, bikes outnumber people & it is a bit crowded. Don’t miss the mastedon by Adams Rd!

Yesterday was the last day for the 2018 Christmas season "Holiday Walk Self-guided Tours" taking place at Meadow Brook Hall. Living so close to this wonderful asset is sometimes a disadvantage as we take it for granted. Big mistake. We took our grandkids and they had a ball. The Hall had placed small candy dishes throughout the building and encouraged kids to search for the paw print placards to find the "treats". What a great way to make things interesting for small children. Our 3-year old granddaughter made great fun of the search game. Visit the hall and do it often.

This is a fun thing to do to add to your Christmas spirit. The play is done so well, being an annual offering of the theater. Great scenery and costumes. Well acted, and several small nuances that add to the enjoyment of the telling that you don't see in many of the old movies. Performed in a wonderful setting, this is the perfect opportunity to add a new and special Christmas tradition for your family.
