We attended one of Betty's classes in La Peñita while we were vacationing in Sayulita. The class is held in her own kitchen. She is passionate about the culture of Mexican cooking and demonstrates traditional techniques as she prepares a meal right in front of you. We snacked on her grandfather's guacamole and ate a hearty meal of Mixiotes de Pollo. It was delightful! We highly recommend this activity!

A relaxing day with our family. The ride there is beautiful. We booked a guide- Agustin Salas 322 122 6122. Be sure to download Whatsapp before you go to Mexico so you can communicate with tour operators Augustin ended up being much more than a guide when our VRBO AND our rental car fell through and we had to scramble to find last minute accommodations during the Christmas holiday when everything was booked. Words are inadequate to express our gratitude for the time and concern he demonstrated for our family's well-being as he drove us from lodging to lodging like a modern day Christmas story until he found us room at an Inn in Guayabitos. Augstin offers a number of tours with personalized affordable service. Our trip would have been an absolute disaster without him. He is kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Book with Agustin for all your tour needs you won't be disappointed and we are forever in his debt.

This is a great place to watch movies. I just saw the Queen biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody”, and it was awesome. The recreation of their set at Live Aid was spot on, including the Pepsi and beer cups on Freddy Mercury’s piano. On Tuesday’s afternoon they show their movies in English. Admission is 50 pesos and you get to preselect your seats. Be sure to bring a light jacket as the theatre is air conditioned. Their popcorn is yummy as well.
