With one of the cleanest lakes in Europe, this is worth a relaxing stop for 2-3 days to amble along the lakeshore, take a boat excursion on the glacial-fed turquoise lake, hike or cycle, try some delicious raclette and make sure to wander beside the canals of the old town at night with glowing lanterns. Wonderful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Morzine. Our 2 young children (aged 3&5) had their first private lesson with Tom-who was a well experienced lovely guy! I would highly recommend this company! Tom had a great approach towards our boys and clearly instructed them through out their lesson (from putting on their skis to checking their clothing and finally ensuring they learnt, listened and had fun!) Thank you to all at BASS!! online booking was informative and well instructed!! Excellent service!! From Laura, Glen, Tom & Fyn McCready

Ultimate Snowsports Tignes

British Ski & Snowboard School in Tignes & Val d'Isere.Offering ski and snowboard lessons for all levels and all ages. From 3 year old children, to advanced coaching and off-piste guiding!

I visited Tignes with a large group of friends last week - All of which were intermediate/advanced skiers, and when compared to me only having had one lesson at the snow dome prior to flying out, it was safe to say I was a beginner. I met with Tom on my first day of skiing for a private 2.5 hr morning lesson and wasn't expecting to come away as confident as I did. He was so professional, gave great advice and just an all round great teacher/instructor. We started off going down from the half way point of some green runs to assess how easily I could stop and how much control I had etc. Once I felt more confident with stopping/turning we then went down some blues. By the end of the lesson I was parallel skiing going down some fast blues, with Tom right behind me. After the lesson had ended, I rejoined my group of friends and felt confident going down every blue in Tignes / Val D'isere and even ended the holiday on the third day going down 3 red runs. I would 100% recommend a private lesson as you get the instructors full attention and they can really get to work on your technique. Also cant recommend Tom enough - He took me from someone who had never ski'd on real snow before, to going down blues and reds and all from one x 2.5 lesson. Cheers Tom!
