This is the only way to travel around Iceland-- Especially if you want to get off the ring road and explore some off road attractions. The tent was super easy to use and stayed warm and dry in rain and heavy wind. We saw a lot of different camping cars but the vans would not have been able to go where we took our Camping Car. No issues whatsoever. Would definitely use them in the future. Staff super helpful and knowledgeable and took us to and from the airport super fast. Get the extras! We used them and it was worth it. Great quality!!

We had 3 taxi transfers on our recent trip--one from the airport to downtown Reykjavik on our arrival, and then from airport to Silica Hotel(basically at the Blue Lagoon) and finally, with Finn from the hotel back to the airport for our ride home. Not only was he substantially less expensive than the other rides, he was punctual, car was comfortable and clean, and I wish we had him here in California;-). Highly recommended

It's always intimidating renting a car in a foreign country but Blue Car Rental made the experience so easy! Our car was great and we had no issues at all throughout the rental process. No hidden fees or anything weird. We chose to get the mobile hotspot for a small daily fee and would highly recommend that! It had service on the entire ring road except for one small patch in the remote north. We will definitely use Blue Car again.
