This is a wonderful location to relax on a sunny day, especially a Sunday afternoon. There are pcinic tables or bring your own picnic blanket. You can walk out to King Island on a low tide on the sand bar. There are public amenties, fish and chip shop, a beach, childrens playground, the jetty and launch for boating. There is plenty of parking, but be warned it can get very busy as its a great location. Enjoy your visit to Wellington Point Jetty & Lookout.

We had been before and wanted to return for lunch on the shady verandah where we could take in the gardens and bird calls. The menu has a focus on native ingredients. The granata drinks were welcome on a hot, muggy day. We each settled in to enjoy these accompanied by toasted pannini sandwiches which were delicious. We would have loved to have tried some of the freshly made cakes and sweets, but we just couldn't fit another bit in. Next time that's for sure! It's a great place to take international and interstate visitors to experience the area's fauna and flora. Would 100% recommend the place.
