When not working with Glass she is found silkscreen printing - (her first apprenticeship) and tending to her exotic fruit forest in her ever evolving Earth Garden. Workshops are available at the studio working with Glass,Silkscreen, painting and mosaic. Yes you can even make your own stunningly beautiful wearable art work in Dichroic and fusible glass expertly guided by Kaylene ‘s experience with over 15 years working with glass. My own love of nature, geography, history and the arts has been the inspiration behind Bay Island Tours; I want visitors to see the natural beauty of our islands, to meet with local artists and to get ‘hands-on’ creating art for themselves. Each of the islands is different and has its own energy and vibe. On all of them, visitors notice the relaxed feel and slower pace of life, reminiscent of an earlier time. Tours are mixture of short walk and scenic drives.
