Myself and 3 girlfriends had the most amazing fun driving around the outskirts of Bansko in these buggies. It had rained recently so we had a few puddles to drive through and the odd stream here and there which only added to the fun! A big thank you to John for making our day extra special. Definitely recommend this to everyone and anyone, no experience needed!

No doubt that the scenery there is stunning as the journey from Bansko up to the hut was through a heavily wooded area. We could not leave the car however due to an invasion of flies that literally covered the windscreen as we pulled up.. Such a shame..

Pirin Golf Resort

I absolutely love this resort. It has so many different options to do during summer and winter. This is the place where I started learning how to golf. After my lessons there I started participating in golf tournaments. I am very proud and thankful to Pirin Golf for helping me learn and introducing me to this sport.
The hotel is very winter like, specious and luxury. I very much like the alpine design and the small details in the construction and decoration there.
The best place to eat is the club house - recommencement the meat and fish ! it is very nice

Bansko Ski Mania

Reviewed By ness_956 - England

After contacting a few ski schools in Bansko, Ski Mania had the best communication and were reasonably priced with good reviews.
Had the pleasure of being taught by Teddy for 4 days every morning for 2 hours whilst visiting Bansko for a Skiing holiday with friends. I had pre booked the lessons 2 months before hand as I had gone on a skiing holiday the year before and had a bad fall. I wanted to learn how to ski properly and although it was slightly more expensive, I would highly recommend booking a 1:1 lesson. I saw huge groups of 10+ people and they were barely moving as there were so many of them. In saying that, private lessons in Bansko are much cheaper than private lessons in England or Ski Dubai.
I had previously had a few lessons so I was able to snow plough and slightly turn. By the end of the 2nd lesson, Teddy was showing me how to parallel turn. It’s amazing what progress you can make in just a few hours and I felt extremely safe and comfortable when he was around. He took me on blue runs on my 2nd day, which is something I thought I could never do so quickly. If you are learning to ski, or need some lessons to brush up on your skills, 1:1 private lessons are the way forward
The ski school was very good with hiring. They let me collect my ski stuff the day I arrived even though I was going to start skiing the day after. You can also store your ski gear there overnight and leave your shoes in the shop during the day. The shop is around the corner from the gondola and it opens at 7:30am.
Half term is extremely busy and we made the mistake of starting the queue for the gondola at 8:30 when we were told it opened. It took us 1.5 to reach the top of the gondola (which should be a 25mins journey in the gondola). What they didn’t say in the shop is that we should start in the queue from 7:30, the gondola opens just before 8am during half term. I missed the 1st hour of my first lesson and luckily they didn’t charge me for it.
Dropping off ski gear and picking up was very quick and easy. I needed to change my boots after the first day and this was fine with no hassle.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in Bansko and especially Ski Mania. I would highly recommend them and if you’re learning how to ski, Teddy is your guy!

Villa Victoria Thermal Spa

This is off the beaten track even for Banya, you really need someone to show you where it is, but well worth finding. The pool, restaurant and hotel are finished to a very good standard (exceptional for Bulgaria) but still lacks a few basics with changing rooms and lighting.
The restaurant is very good with a varied menu which gives very good value. Well worth making the effort to find.

Pirin Street

Reviewed By SanPiter - London, United Kingdom

Near the gondola are the main bar and restaurant attractions, with trendy music and food options from as little as £2 for street food up to £20 at a trendy restaurant. However not all places accept cards.
Please head down Pirin st into town and try a local Mexana. These have a great and more traditional atmosphere, some with live music, and local food. The shashlik is just awesome (giant skewer). But not many veggie options. Other than bars and restaurants there are some crafts shops with some interesting stuff.
