This was a really fun experience ... something different to your typical tourist attractions. Very enjoyable experiences - farming with the locals, scenic bamboo boat ride, heavenly foot massage and fun cooking lessons followed by a delicious lunch. The host family was very hospitable and very welcoming. I recommend this as a great way to see Hoi An life and have some great laughs.

visited here last year september.it is one of the ancient house in Hoi An. it is a typical Hoian style shophouse with a long, narrow floor plan with a shop in front, a courtyard at center, a work space in the rear, and living quarters on the upper level. the house used to be a bookshop, and was once converted into a shop selling Chinese medicine. It also served as a gathering place for patriotic intellectuals,so it related to politics in the history of Vietnam.
