This place is a must visit when we come to Purwokerto. It's really beautiful.
There are some attractions there like flying bike which only costs us 20,000 rupiahs.
It's a huge area to cover for only a day and 10 pictures will not represent all beauties we can see here.

A Little Batik boutique Banyumasan style, it's typical design difference from other Batik. I bought 5 batik at once, feel in love with the batik motive. Price are varies from low to high .... Just ask Purwokerto people where to find Rumah Batik Anto Djamil

A visit to Purwokerto is the visit I had planned for years but has only been realized. Realization of that trip I did when I was in Yogyakarta, the closest distance to the Purwokerto which can be reached by train.
The train ride is the fastest mode of transport to reach Purwokerto, Yogyakarta and Jakarta rather than take a bus. On my first experience, I took the train Bogowonto economic route to the station Lempuyangan Jogja Jakarta Pasar Senen station. Based on the advice of my family dati who have often crossed Java, not to fall asleep on the train too long because it can be carried over until the final destination. So I then still fresh even trying to enjoy the ride.
Enjoy the ride route Jogja-Purwokerto was indeed good. I was presented with the typical landscape of the Mountains. The expanse of rice fields punctuated by the occasional river and houses a collection of so wonderful it feels. I took some photos about the trip. It is very interesting to me for the first time towards Purwokerto.
Arriving at the station Purwokerto, do not forget to immediately rush to leave the train because the train will move back towards the next station. Yes, Purwokerto station is crossing the busy station. Various trains with the goal of big cities in Java such as Yogyakarta, Solo, Semarang, Bandung, Jakarta and Surabaya this station. No one if the status of this station is the station with its own Regional Operations. Dutch colonial era classic feel deeply felt in this station. But everything is still well and truly make the passengers comfortable in waiting for the train. Stations also in a clean condition. The parking lot is also quite adequate accompanied by several tenants lined food located on the front of the station. Other facilities seen here is an ATM and a minimarket. Although a classic yet modern touches seen here when the present computerized machines for ticketing. Do not forget to do online check-in for my departure back to Yogyakarta by excecutive train Bima route end to Surabaya. Hmm .. It seems that later on I was not allowed to fall asleep. Before leaving the station, one thing that needs attention is the number of public transport such as taxis with the meter, taxis and rickshaws were up the whole night standby in front of the station. So also with public minibus route past the station. Greatly facilitate travel for tourists like me.
Finally, as the reviewers I suggest to you all to be traveled to Purwokerto to use rail as a mode of transportation the fastest to achieve here. Stations are also located in the city center so it is easy to reach the city

This was my second visit. There were two new objects I noticed two camels and eifel replica. One object was missing which was pyramid as I recalled.
I got a 50% discount for Indonesia Independence Day celebration. I also noticed that visiting not on high season was more convenient. I could selfie as long as I want on my favorite spots and I found parking spot easier.

Mount Slamet has a nice view that can be obtained through 2 days 1 night hike, but some people prefer 3 days 2 nights for a laid-back hike.
From Jakarta, you can get to Purwokerto by bus or by train. At Purwokerto train station there will be some men that offers to take you to the Base Camp of Mount Slamet, renting their Avanza car for IDR 200k or 50k per person (i was with 3 friends). You can ask the driver to take you to local market to buy your hiking supplies. If you want to take public transportation instead, just go straight outside the station, there will be some angkot heading to the bus terminal. The track is obvious and clear enough, so night trekking is fine. Nice view from bottom to top. On top of Mount Slamet there's a huge crater that's still active and releasing gas.

Taman Balai Kemambang dibuat seperti danau besar berbentuk lingkaran. Di danau ini ada berbagai jenis ikan seperti mujair, kalper , ikan mas warna warni dan lainnya. Wisatawan dapat memberi makan ika-ikan tersebut. Disini ada gardu pandang dan berbagai macam tanaman hias lainnya. Ada juga tanaman yang tumbuh di atas air sebagai penghiasnya , indah warna warni. Suasananya cukup menyenangkan dan hijau. Balai Kemambang berarti balai terapung di atas air. Di lokasi taman banyak bertebaran tempat duduk untuk bersantai menikmati suasana yang cukup tenang. Tempat ini cocok untuk bersantai

Taman Wisata ini berada di kaki G.Slamet masuk kabupaten Purbalingga dengan hawa sangat sejuk. Lokasinya mudah dicapai baik dari kabupaten Purbalingga maupun dari Purwokerto. Taman wisata pendidikan Purbasari menggabungkan konsep wisata alam buatan dengan berbagai wahana modern dengan luas 6 hektar. Sepasang tugu gapura cantik menyambut wisatawan yang datang kemari. Melewati gapura terdapat halaman luas yang berfungsi sebagai parkir mobil. Disini terdapat Aquarium raksasa dua lantai terdapat puluhan koleksi ikan di tempatkan di sejumlah aquarium kaca dan kolam berbagai ukuran. Melewati lorong aquarium pemandangan hijau terbuka membentang di depan mata. Wisatawan juga dapat menikmati terapi pijat ikan di kolam luar ruangan. Selanjutnya ads taman yang menjadi bagian utama , suasananys sangat sejuk dan rindang. Sejumlah bangku, gazebo dan pendopo dapat digunakan untuk istirahat.

Beautiful waterfall with an easy path taken . There was also a beautiful river named Kedung Pete. There is a 'warung' with a very tasty mendoan (popular local food) . You should try it.

klenteng ini terletak Jl. Pungkuran, Belakang Pasar, Banyumas. design klenteng ini cukup unik dengan warna dominan merah, terus ada beberapa lukisan dan juga ada pilar pilar dengan paung naga yang membelit serta gerbang belakang yang berbentuk bulatan dengan lukisan di pinggirannya dan juga terdapat altar untuk ibadah Tridarma.
