Volsonis

Volsonis is one of the most intriguing places on the Croatian coast to enjoy a nice evening with your friends in an ancient roman ruin in the heart of the little town of Krk. Enjoying your beer or cocktail with lots of friendly people, while listening to live music between the trees and candles of our secret Garden - is definitely worth feeling!

Reviewed By Miha P - Maribor, Slovenia

Volsonis is a day restaurant/pizza house and bar, archeological place and popular gathering place in the evening. First and foremost it is a restaurant. They don’t try to have the best pizzas. Food is correct sometimes they put even too many different ingredients. It is not a slow food gourmand restaurant. It is eat and go place. Very popular for young generation – they don’t care for old stones and walls, just to get good company and enough drinks with fast service.

Not too many up and down! on such a hot day it is nice to visit a more flat town. Charming with the usual restaurants and shops. It would be a nice place to stay.

NAS Sailing

Sailing Experience Daily Sailing Trips Rent a Sailing Boat Sailing With Instructor Skipper Training Sailing Courses Project Traditional Sailing

Reviewed By seanandcorinned - Lyon, France

This is the only sailing school in North Croatia, established only 3 years ago. NAS rents paddles, bikes and organises sailing courses for all levels up to skipper training.
Located in the pretty town of Punat, state -of- the- art marina, beautiful bay and surrroundings.
The owner, Marko, is a very experienced skipper and will do his best to adapt to your needs / timings..
We went sailing during 2 days with Marko; 1st half day on smaller sailing boat, which was great to remind ourselves of the technique,
2nd day on the larger, beautifull sailing boat, better for cruising.
We really enjoyed these outings thanks to Marko's patience and good advices and really hope to come back for a longer course ( hopefully with more wind!)

Been in Baška with 4 more friends and got bored one day. We were looking for something fun to do. Our decision for zip line was the right one, really fun afternoon, great get-away day from the turists-full-beach. Also the crew was really friendly and nice! :D

Me and my friend went scuba diving for the first time and had an amazing experience at the Dive Center. The staff is very friendly and the drive instructor Karlos did an amazing job teaching us the diving basics! And he's a handsome young man, which is also very nice ;)

The Narrowest Street in the World

Reviewed By Mira V - Smarje Pri Jelsah, Slovenia

Quite an experience. The street is really awfully narrow, though I am not so sure about the record. Some other towns or cities also want to have the narrowest street in the world. (I was in Brasow, Rumania, some time ago, and they have one there). Nevertheless, do not miss this street if you visit Vrbnik.

Hang-Loose-Diving

Reviewed By Hannegoestripping - Wevelgem, Belgium

The diving center is located in Punat which is only a 10 min drive from Krk. Stephan and his wife are running this center and their welcoming is warm and open.
Besides Stephan there was an expat experienced diver who joined the exploration.
I never dove with such high quality equipment of Mares. All divers received a dive computer as well!
It was a pleasure to dive with Hang-Loose.

Vrbnik

Vrbnik is an impressive medieval town, not featuring a main attractive but offering a complete old city center like a labyrinth with houses interconnected with small Bridges leading to the entrence, narrow old Copplestone roads and tiny houses.
You should take the time for a nice walk and enjoy the atmosphere in the city. For us the most beautiful town on the island
Highly recommended

Croatia Excursions Boats

Welcome on board! Swim on the Beaches only accessible by sea, enjoy the sunset boat tours with a freshly- caught fish dinner aboard or experience dauphins playfully swimming in the sea! Join us and revel in the best of all that Island of Krk has to offer.

Reviewed By Lucy E

I have been on this boat experience twice now - the first time was in 2007 and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to experience it again when I returned to Krk in 2016. The coastline is extremely beautiful, and definitely best viewed by boat, while the sea is stunningly blue, and the highlight of the trip is pulling into a beautiful cove where you can dive off the boat and swim or snorkel in stunning surroundings. The boat itself is very comfortable and clean, and you can buy beers and snacks on board for very reasonable prices, and the crew are very informative about the surrounding coast line, and will point out things of interest as you go - in our case, we saw vultures nesting in the cliffs. Overall I would highly recommend going on this excursion to anyone who is visiting Krk!
