We called in as I was collecting stamps along our Route 66 trip and this is a stop. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and they even took our photo to post on their Facebook pages, such a really nice touch.

Although I love museums in general (yes, I am that sort of person), I was not expecting to enjoy the Ft. Leonard Wood Museum as much as I did. I had a lot of fun looking at all of the exhibits, especially my personal favourite, the section of the Berlin Wall.

Uranus Fudge Factory

Reviewed By Shawni_and_Buck - Dubuque, United States

We saw the road signs and had to stop and try the fudge. We weren't really expecting anything other than a candy store but we're pleasantly surprised. So the fudge shop is actually inside the general store, which was packed full of odd little souvenirs, gifts, and trinkets as well as drinks and snacks. We all enjoyed walking around and checking out the different items and even bought a few Uranus gifts for friends. The fudge was surprisingly good. We wished we would have picked up more and will stop if near here in the future just to grab some more of that tasty fudge. You are obviously going to run into a little "potty" humor here, so if that bothers you, it might not be your kind of stop. The staff here were super friendly and kept the puns going the whole time we were in there. Fun stop to stretch your legs, purchase a drink and or snacks, try some fudge, shop some oddities or good gag gifts, and even grab some silly photos outside.
