What to do and see in Pula, Istria: The Best Private Tours

October 6, 2021 Renato Branum

Pula is situated at the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula and is the area's largest city. Located beneath seven hills and with views of the Adriatic, Pula's unspoiled natural surroundings are magical. Known for its mild climate and tame, beautiful sea, Pula also has a long tradition of winemaking, fishing and shipbuilding. It is also home to many ancient Roman buildings, including the well-preserved, magnificent amphitheater.

Great highlights tour. He gave great historical information. I wish we would have gone into more places. Like inside the amphitheater and the market.

Join us and we will take you for a relaxing cruise with a chance to discover the unique Brijuni National Park, an archipelago spread on 14 islands situated on a 7-km stretch between Pula and Rovinj. Nature has created quite a little paradise here – a true harmony of flora and fauna with ancient historical monuments. Have the opportunity to enjoy the view from open sea to Rovinj – one of the most romantic places in the Mediterranean. The town is situated on a former island, on a restricted area with crowded houses, narrow streets and small squares, still untouched by modern urbanism. The afternoon is reserved to enjoy swimming at one of the many hidden bays with clear-blue sea on the nearby island of Sveti Andrija and a perfect place to enjoy sunbathing – the exquisite Punta yacht deck. Please note, itinerary is subject to confirmed daycruise and weather conditions: • all-day cruise lasts from 9:00h until 19:00h • half-day cruise lasts from 09:00 to 14:00h or from 15:00 to 20:00h

Inclusions: Fuel, Restroom on board, Snacks, Alcoholic Beverages, Soda/Pop, Bottled water, Stand up paddle, fishing equipment, snorkeling equipment, towels, All Fees and Taxes, F&B offering (prosciutto, cheese, fresh fruit, salad, snacks, red & white wine, beer and similar)

The tour offers personal experience that can be customized. I try making the visitors feel as if they are visiting their distant relative in Pula who is giving them an easy- paced and relaxed tour of the town. I also provide my clients with information about all of the interesting venues and landmarks and offer them a choice of choosing where and where not to go. Entering the facilities that require additional payment is also an option, but I usually don't include this in the original price since I let visitors decide this on the spur of the moment.

We are here visiting Pula for vacation, with our two small children. We chose Vesna as a tour guide based on a good review from friends. She is absolutely wonderful. Her rates are far better than others. Also, its wonderful to just walk around with only your family and friends opposed to a massive group. She gave us wonderful insight to the history of Pula, and we got to see some wonderful monuments, and the underground tunnels. She will tailor the tour however you like. She was also very sweet with our small kids. I would highly recommend Vesna as a tour guide for Pula.

Sasa and her boat driver were awesome! Very friendly, interactive, and knowledgeful. The boat accomodates you perfectly, it was just us 3 guys and we had the whole boat. There were unlimited alcoholic drinks, food, and dessert. In addition to the treats, we were on a 4 hour excursion to see cliffs, coves, a lighthouse, and just the overall open sea which was absolutely breathtaking. The boat will park 3-4 times for you to get off, get into the water, and explore. If you're friendly and fun, Sasa might jump into the water with you as well and go exploring! ;)

This is a very long overdue review for Croatia Photo Tour. Only a couple of weeks before my intended trip,I found out that my intended vacation to another country was no longer possible, and I was going to be going to Croatia by myself (solo female traveler). I travel internationally fairly often for business by myself, but was nervous at the idea of trying to scramble to set up a very last minute itinerary. Igor helped me arrange a fantastic private itinerary to see many of Croatia and Bosnia's most scenic spots, and worked around my inconvenient hotel accommodations during the trip. Honestly, just having the itinerary and transit arranged alone was worth the cost of the tour but having the photography instruction was such a fantastic addition to the tour! On top of that, Igor was very helpful and patient as he taught me new techniques with my camera. I am very happy with all of the photos I took, and couldn't have done it without this tour. I would be happy to hire Croatia Photo Tours for my next trip to Croatia.
