This is my third year visiting this town and this wine store. There used to be an old man and the store was charming. This time it's changed, the store is very modern, lost its old wine shop charm, anyways the younger guy was very pleasant even though he was helping another customer he did not ignore me. I was happy with the two bottles of wine which only cost 10€. I was also very happy to see this shop still open.

Siena was our first stop on our honeymoon and it set the bar pretty high. We met Omar while staying at the hotel and he arranged for a private wine tasting in the cellar. It was an experience like no other, we enjoyed it so much. Omar was so patient with us, informative, and took so many pictures so we could keep the memory. We visited 8 cities on our honeymoon and the staff at the hotel including Omar is the one place we felt like family to them. I can’t recommend this experience enough!! Matt and Courtney

We had the pleasure of visiting this iconic property, and we were blown away by the level of hospitality. This is a huge property with a lot of history (recent history), that showcases new and innovative solutions in the wine business. We came away from our visit with a stronger appreciation for the region, the culture, food, and sustainability in the region. Wines were delicious and explained well by staff that seemed to take pride in what they were doing. Highly recommend a visit!

Casa Chianti Classico

NEW OPENING AFTER CORONAVIRUS LOCKDOWN FROM 30 MAY 2020 From Friday to Sunday 11am to 7pm. In the heart of Tuscany, in Radda in Chianti, in the wonderful 18th century convent of Santa Maria al Prato, the Casa Chianti Classico welcomes its guests to its suggestive interiors with several initiatives dedicated to wine and territory culture: the bistrot Al Convento, the exclusive Black Rooster wine shop, a sensorial area dedicated to the wine and the history of Chianti Classico, exhibitions' areas, learning courses on wine, cooking classes by appointment and much more. A terrace overlooking the Chianti hills, the ancient refectory and the inner cloister complete the ancient feeling of the place. Atmosphere and charm lead the Chianti Classico visitor through a world of wine culture, curiosity and amazement but above all through experiences strongly connected to the trademark of Black Rooster and all its facets.
