I have chosen Rio Vero inferior (Day1) and Peonera (Day2) with my 8 years old son Arthur in August 2016.
My kid is very fit but, like all children, has suffered a little bit from the cold, despite an additional (thin) body wet suit. You might wish to take this into account if you have a trip with young children, e.g. take energy bars, or maybe a hot drink in a thermos.
Besides that, we were both delighted by the experience !
Key point : the guides (Javier and Pau) were paying a very high attention to the safety of all participants. As a matter of fact, Arthur has fallen and got stuck in a waterhole and Pau's super fast intervention has been crucial. Without a guide, you could easily put your life at risk. With a good guide, you rest assured that he will show you the right way, based on your size, fitness and will. Do not overlook safety in a canyon !

Great Experience Superb Team!
We had a one day experience with the team in EXPEDICIONES. All reservation was done in Emails, very responsive and accurate. The team at EXPEDICIONES are very responsive, professional and patients. One of my sons is 9 years old and the way David and Chaime took care of him at that day was incredibly appreciated! We had lots of fun and defiantly one of the great days in our trip.!

The Valle de Pineta is the starting point for a both remarkable and arduous walk up to the Balcon de Pineta (depending on time of year). From there you can go to the famous frozen lake or overnight at the refuge. For those "just" going to the Frozen lake, be aware that this is not for the faint-hearted. 3-5 hours to the Balcon and another 30 mins to the lake.
While the walk is pretty remorselessly up. the views are incredible. And the walk in the snow at the top, even in July, as quite other-wordly. Plenty of streams to drink from on the way up. Pack plenty of sun-cream and set off early to avoid the worst of the heat. And then get ready for the cold at the top! Be aware that the last 50 metres to the Balcon are quite hazardous while there is still snow, with a steep snow slope to traverse and a tricky 5 metre scramble at the top. No snow, no problem though. It is worth packing crampons unless its August/September.

Beautiful scenery in the Pyrenees. Don't miss the church in Siresa from 833. We found the town of Hecho a bit too redone. Anso in the neighboring valley seemed more authentic.

La tirolina recorre un kilómetro en un descenso de 115 metros. Tras el aterrizaje, descenderemos a pie por un camino forestal disfrutando de un paseo hasta llegar a la carretera donde nos estará esperando un vehículo que nos conducirá de nuevo hasta el pueblo.

It's in the middle of nowhere a 2 hour drive from Pamplona or an hour from Huesca but it's absolutely beautiful. It is quick as the reviews say but the views are breathtaking. You have a short walk from the office to the start of the zip line and then a minibus collects you at the end. It was definitely worth it!

Visited late December, with frost covering fields and trees. The air was crystal clear and the sky so blue. The village is so quaint, with the back drop of the rounded cliffs. The place is so spectacular it was used in a mobile phone add. This place os one of the "must sees" in Aragon.
When we were there there was a sea of clouds below just like in the add. It is a great place to hike, and nearby during the summer there are all sosrts of aquatic expeditions you can do in the Canyons.

Museo Diocesano occupies part of the Jaca Cathedral complex. It is accessible through the Cathedral. The museum looks very modern and is very well-organized. To me, the museum is truly distinctive because of the amazing collection of frescoes from small Romanesque churches around Jaca. Upper floor has some nice works from Gothic and Renaissance periods.
