Buenaventura outdoor is a company dedicated to the Tourism of Nature and is specialized in canyoning and climbing activities Our activities are realized in Guara's Saw and in the Aragonese Pyrenees and can be effected by all those persons interested in knowing and living through big experiences. We are placed in the Villa of Alquezar, a small town surrounded by the crystalline waters of the river Vero in the spectacular frame that offers the Nature reserve of the Sierra y Cañones de Guara.
I have chosen Rio Vero inferior (Day1) and Peonera (Day2) with my 8 years old son Arthur in August 2016.
My kid is very fit but, like all children, has suffered a little bit from the cold, despite an additional (thin) body wet suit. You might wish to take this into account if you have a trip with young children, e.g. take energy bars, or maybe a hot drink in a thermos.
Besides that, we were both delighted by the experience !
Key point : the guides (Javier and Pau) were paying a very high attention to the safety of all participants. As a matter of fact, Arthur has fallen and got stuck in a waterhole and Pau's super fast intervention has been crucial. Without a guide, you could easily put your life at risk. With a good guide, you rest assured that he will show you the right way, based on your size, fitness and will. Do not overlook safety in a canyon !

best guide - that safety, patience, responsibility, kindheartedness, approach to children and more - is part of his personality.
all of us just fell in love with him (Julen - the Owner and Canyoning Guide).
as people who can't stand iced cold water we can say - the very good equipment make sure you won't feel the cold water !
don't miss it !
when you travel you can see companies that charges expensive rates for nothing...but "we are canyoneers" fee is cheap for what you get...
this is very authentic recommendation you can relay on !
to feel the powerful water..
to be as close as you can be to nature
to feel alive !
to see the beauty of ..everything..
it is easy even you are not in a good shape
trust the guide - he is a leader !
we put the safety of our children in his hands with closed eyes
something to remember and wating to comeback
i can write and write - just do it !
the pictures he did for us - wow !!!!!
julen - thank you - from the heart !!!!!!!!!!!!

Activities of adventure and mountain in Torla; transport and Photo report included; Canyoning, rafting, via ferrata, climbing, caves, mountain, snowshoeing, skiing, ski touring or mountain, snowkite or kitesqui, mountaineering, climbing and much more in Ordesa and Pyrenees
The Furco trip was exciting, exhilarating, and fun! Optional jump was a blast! Small group felt unrushed and supportive for all members. Excellent water fall and beautiful opportunity to see Ordesa in new way! Just the right length of time and free pictures a bonus!...MoreThank you very much for your opinion, hope to see you back here

We had a one day experience with the team in EXPEDICIONES. All reservation was done in Emails, very responsive and accurate. The team at EXPEDICIONES are very responsive, professional and patients. One of my sons is 9 years old and the way David and Chaime took care of him at that day was incredibly appreciated! We had lots of fun and defiantly one of the great days in our trip.!

The Valle de Pineta is the starting point for a both remarkable and arduous walk up to the Balcon de Pineta (depending on time of year). From there you can go to the famous frozen lake or overnight at the refuge. For those "just" going to the Frozen lake, be aware that this is not for the faint-hearted. 3-5 hours to the Balcon and another 30 mins to the lake.
While the walk is pretty remorselessly up. the views are incredible. And the walk in the snow at the top, even in July, as quite other-wordly. Plenty of streams to drink from on the way up. Pack plenty of sun-cream and set off early to avoid the worst of the heat. And then get ready for the cold at the top! Be aware that the last 50 metres to the Balcon are quite hazardous while there is still snow, with a steep snow slope to traverse and a tricky 5 metre scramble at the top. No snow, no problem though. It is worth packing crampons unless its August/September.

Beautiful scenery in the Pyrenees. Don't miss the church in Siresa from 833. We found the town of Hecho a bit too redone. Anso in the neighboring valley seemed more authentic.

It's in the middle of nowhere a 2 hour drive from Pamplona or an hour from Huesca but it's absolutely beautiful. It is quick as the reviews say but the views are breathtaking. You have a short walk from the office to the start of the zip line and then a minibus collects you at the end. It was definitely worth it!

Visited late December, with frost covering fields and trees. The air was crystal clear and the sky so blue. The village is so quaint, with the back drop of the rounded cliffs. The place is so spectacular it was used in a mobile phone add. This place os one of the "must sees" in Aragon.
When we were there there was a sea of clouds below just like in the add. It is a great place to hike, and nearby during the summer there are all sosrts of aquatic expeditions you can do in the Canyons.

"One of the most beautiful collections of romanesque wall paintings in the world" -Le Monde-
Museo Diocesano occupies part of the Jaca Cathedral complex. It is accessible through the Cathedral. The museum looks very modern and is very well-organized. To me, the museum is truly distinctive because of the amazing collection of frescoes from small Romanesque churches around Jaca. Upper floor has some nice works from Gothic and Renaissance periods.
