We had a private tour of this beautiful cave and our guide spoke excellent English. You go down a dizzying metal spiral staircase under a purpose-built Trullo down to a lovely cave with stalagmites and stalactites. There are minerals of many colours and it is all so close to the surface, unlike our Cheddar caves - you can even see a tree root coming through in search of water.

We booked the long tour in English and it was perfect. A must see in Puglia and if your legs are able to carry you this far the long tour is definitely worth the 3€ plus compared to the short tour. Our guide was Claudio and he was the best, guiding us with funny stories, a lovely smile and perfect English.

This is an amazing place, with the beach, the old town at the right, the cliff at the left, and the bridge behind. Of course there are lots of people in summer, so it is advised to arrive early. The sea is clean and crystal-like, ideal for snorkeling. There are lots of fishes and they are not afraid of snorkelers ! We were even lucky enough to catch a small octopus.

Beautiful and unique site - an interesting mix of water, rock, caves and man-made stuff. Visited in January when nobody was there but I understood it's very crowded in the summer.
