Provo Ponies is a small riding stable located on the southeast end of the island of Providenciales. We do two guided rides a day, morning ride at 9:30am and an afternoon ride at 3:00pm during winter hours, 3:30pm during the summer. We can take all experience levels from 7 years old and up. Everyone rides their own horse or pony, no double riding. We have a 230 pound weight limit. Groups are never more than 12 riders. Private rides are available. Anyone under 18 must wear a helmet. We ride along quiet dirt roads and trails to Long Bay Beach, a 4 mile long beach. We do our best not to do nose to tail type rides, and more experienced riders are given the chance to trot or canter along the beach depending on the tides. The shallow waters of the Caicos Banks off Long Bay make it an ideal place to take horse into the ocean. You can book a 60 or a 90 minute ride. We can arrange for transportation to & from your resort, reservations are required. We are a fully insured and licensed business.

Twain Twain Twain... prior to our family choosing TCI, we did our research and read reviews as everyone should do prior making a decision on the company to do your excursion with. And all I could notice was the constant mentioning of “Twain.” I am happy to add yet another review to congratulate TCI & Twain specifically for the amazing adventure. Twain picked up our family from the resort and gave us a little island background prior to arriving at the horseback riding site & made it fun along the way. Prior, During And at the conclusion of our tour, he took a lot of AMAZING photos and videos of our family (5 of us) and made sure we all individually got our “moment of shine” & happiness during the excursion. I don’t want to ruin the excursion with too much detail but all I can say is I would definitely do it again, and I can’t emphasize how much of an asset Mr. Twain is to the company. Respect man!

Our group of 7 did this together and it was great. The horses were well cared for island horses and well behaved. We swam with them a bit but mostly walked down the beach as a group in a row. The guides were great and we really enjoyed this experience!

This allows us to ride at your skill and comfort level. Design a tour based on what you want, including swimming, loping or just leisurely strolling at the waters edge. Our horses are well-trained and safe for first-time riders. Children younger than 8, unless experienced are able to ride with a guide leading them. Our tours generally run at 9am, 11am, 2pm and 4:15pm we are very flexible. The standard tour is one hour, entirely along the beach and in the water. Price includes pick up from and drop off to your hotel. Gratuity is not included and not accepted via credit cards ; Tour guides will be happy to receive it in cash by their guest as a sign of appreciation. 12% Govt Sales Tax is already included for all tours. 5% credit card service charge is also included for every transaction.
