Strada Panoramica di Porto S. Stefano

Don’t hesitate to book a vacation here. This peninsula has everything from sandy beaches with shady spots to picturesque views and a lively harbour. We stayed near the Fortezza Spagnola high up in this maze of ancient buildings and walking paths. There are scattered local food stores in this area however a 15 minute hike ascending this ancient fortress like area brings you down to the harbour. The harbour is the centre of it all with fine restaurants and cafes, linen shops, designer clothing shops, tourist shops, banks and emergency services. One can stroll around the waterfront here and appreciate the docked local fishing boats with views out to sea or sit in a cafe with water views and enjoy european fare. Most restaurants open by 10am until midnight. To specifically mention if you are agile the upper accommodation is great with very enjoyable hikes also hilly parking could be a daily adventure, if you are less agile make sure you book accommodation closer to the waters edge. The beach is a car ride from the centre you can park near the beach with a flat 5 minute walk to the sitting areas.
