Aquaholics Dive Centre

We provide both dive courses (SSI) and specialty courses such as deep and wreck diving as well as diving for certified divers. Our dive shop is in the beautiful town of Port Barton. We are situated on the beach next to Summer Homes.

One of these days you will never forget!!! It was our first diving ever. Martyn explained everything and showed us how to dive save. And then we just enjoy 3 dives in one day plus. I just mentioned that I like freediving so Martyn took extra pair of long thins and in between we did some awesome freedives where I was able to sit on seabottom for 30 seconds in 10 m deph and just watch corals with thousands of fishes...
Water was incredibly clear and corals colourfull. Local dive guids showed us unvisible rayfish hiden under sand and huge crocodilefish which I recognized only when I got very close.
I am giving a ten stars out of five. Lovely people#fun#great dive
Please mind that in Port Barton is no ATM $...

German island seems to be a fixture on most island hopping tours around Port Barton. In fact the island has a lovely little palm fringed beach and you can enjoy drinks and food there. However, around lunch time the beach seems to be heaving with boats and tourists and is best to be avoided at that time

Papawyan Falls

Reviewed By JonderP83 - England, United Kingdom

I was in Port Barton for quite a while so I decided to hire a Scooter for the day and head to the waterfall. The automatic scooter was obtained from a place on Rizal Street, they charge 650PHP and were honest people.
The drive is a bit confusing, I used maps.me to navigate my way and after about 25 mins I found the entrance hut where you can make a small donation to get to the falls.
You then have a 15-20 minute hike through jungle (just follow the river), you will find some steps in certain places to help you and hopefully more should be in place by now as they were working on them when I went in April 2017.
Eventually you will come across the falls where you have a great fresh water pool to cool down and swim in, there are also toilets provided and a hut to sit and eat or drink inside.
Great spot which I had all to myself for a couple of hours although it's probably an ideal spot to take friends!
Oh and if you find my camera cover here please send it back to England for me!

This tour company is by far the best in Port Barton!! Riza is the beautiful owner of this Filipino owned and operated company. She owns a beautiful bar/ boat and tour desk right on the beach called Santa Cools! We found her while walking on the white sandy main beach of port Barton and she asked us if we wanted to have an ice cold beer. After having a few at her beach bar we then asked her what there was to do in port Barton. This was the first time my friends and I have ever been here and Riza really took care of us. We were only meant to stay two nights but extended it to 7 days of true paradise island hopping and sight seeing!! My highlights were camping on a remote white sandy beach island, swimming with sea turtles, snorkeling hidden lagoons and cliff diving off Waterfalls. There are so many tours that she offered but we didn't have enough time to see everything. Her tour package deals are the best bang for your dollar. Included in the package was lunch and drinks and all the fun stuff in between. Thanks so much Riza for the great memories and hospitality you showed us, we will never forget you and port Barton! We miss you already!! See you again next year! Also thanks for the recommendation for accommodation in el nido, outpost beach hostel was amazing as well! See you soon! Love team west coast :)

Exotic Island

Reviewed By bloomy29 - London, United Kingdom

Exotic island was the 'lunch break' island for our island hopping group and I was soooo glad that we could spend a bit longer time here. The Beaches, water, scenery, landscape far away are just a perfect setting for your lifetime calendar photos. There is white sand, black rocks, pristine water, a bit of wind, full on Sunshine, bangkas and volcanoes in the background, what else can you ask for?
Absolute joy, would highly recommend it, especially for romantic couples.

Paradise Island

Reviewed By deiseboyz

We visit here as part of a day long. Island hopping tour of Islands around Port Barton. This tour was suppose to be for wonderful snorkeling. I have snorkeled all over SE Asia including the tioman and perenthian Islands in Malaysia and there is not the slightest comparison. Something is seriously wrong here the lack of numbers of fish and bleached coral. This is not just this island but where ever we visited on the day. Which are the standard stops for these tours. This payicular island is small with a dirty area for visitors. Many people crowded in a small area. Our boat of 8 people happy to leave. Only plus picturesque view.

Cacnipa Island

Reviewed By New_YLOO - Philippines

Cacnipa island is 1 hour bangka ride from Port Barton - it has just one resort on the island - the rest of the island is filled with wild Forests. I liked it very much - the beach was clean, with white powdery sand.
There were hammocks and beach chairs where we just lounged.
It was nice to swim off the beach, and snorkel - there were lots of colourful fish. The island has a restaurant with reasonably priced dishes and an excellent variety of food - normal and exotic!
There were very few people on the beach always. very peaceful.
All in all, a great place to spend a whole day.

My fiancée and I opted for the double subwing experience and had the best time. It is super easy to use and both the guy who runs it and the boat driver were so friendly. Saw lots of amazing fish and even a sea turtle....MoreThank you Edward! Whole trip went so smooth with your positive vibe! We loved it! Have a safe trip guys and hopefully see you again in the future ;)
