My Italian friends sent me here for the famous Amor cakes. I was therefore surprised to find an absolutely charming town and this bakery. Have a coffee and a sweet and linger in the square. It appears they also serve lunch and dinner.

This area was an important center conquered by the romans in the second century before Christ. Apua gave the name to the Alpes Apuane. With the stone bridge, the churches and the ancients palaces it is a very nice city to visit or have a rest in one of several and good restaurants.
