As my first venture onto a resort slopes only having practiced indoors in the UK I was a little nervous...but Bukovel was so easy...all the lifts were working....plenty of ski runs...of various levels...not the best sign posted and think the only criticism would be the apparent mad scramble at the bottom for the ski lifts which could be easily sorted with a few barriers to save the pushing and shoving. Skiers of all levels on the easier slopes and had no issues on any of the slopes in 14 days of skiing....English is not spoken by many residents or staff at the ski hire or hotels and restaurants but managed easy enough with a few basic phrases I had learned and translation app. If you want a good holiday on the slopes different from European resorts then I would recommend heading to Bukovel.....new year was fantastic at the restaurant museum.of football......over all a great holiday....couldn't fault anything really..

Amazing views. Worth to see. We were with 6 months baby, no problem to see the place. 5km by car than 200 metres on foot.

It is on the border between Ivano Frankivsk and Zakarpattya region. Famous for its souvenir market and wooden TRYSUB . You can make some nice photos as we did and continue your journey.

Really fabulous water focused area. We visited in summer when everything focused around the lake and sun & water were the goal. I understand it's also open in the winter for relaxation after a ski day. We found the lounge areas extensive and very enjoyable

This is a cascade and not a real waterfall in the Carpathians. There are warning signs about not actually getting into the water.
To get to the cascades you have to pass a number of touristy souvenir markets but you can find interesting stuff like handmade soap and real-leather locally made handbags.
There is also a very good restaurant.

December 2017. The ski teachers are nice and help you step by step to learn skiing, the price are 25€ for 2 hours include skipass for this time.

Подьем на гору начинается километрах в пяти от Буковеля. Поднимались на Хомяк в конце августа в почти идеальную погоду: переменная облачность, не жарко, относительно сухо. В дождь или после дождей на этот маршрут идти могут только явные экстремалы. Дорога занимала около трех часов с перерывами в один конец, местами скользкие каменистые россыпи. Большую часть идти в тени деревьев, это значительный плюс. Последние полчаса надо карабкаться по резкому подъему вверх между большими камнями, держась за корни и толстые ветви хвойного кустарника - настоящий экстрим для не экстремалов! Но все компенсируют великолепные виды на последнем участке пути и особенно с вершины горы - ради этого стоило попотеть. Спуск легче только на более пологих участках пути, а на крутых даже сложнее подъема. Берите с собой воду, ручей был только один в первой трети маршрута, далее воды нет.

Подходит для холодных летних вечеров:) Согревает и ободряет!
Удалось расслабиться, согреться, повеселиться в компании друзей. Устроили соревнование - кто рискнет нырнуть в холодную воду после чана :)
Персонал очень доброжелательный.
Единственный совер - поскольку сидеть приходилось на камнях - многие (но не все) непоседы поцарапали себе плавки.
