The museum, situated in the heart of town and in one of of its most imposing building presents the history of Piteaa in a classic yet interesting way. You can find artifacts, pictures, maps, and also model of the town in the XIXth century. It wasn't very big, and not that super exciting, but I really did enjoy learning more about this lovely little town.

Jossgarden - a guiet and cozy resort with a small farmyard store in the village of Sjulsmark, only a 3o minute car ride from Luleå airport. Here you can visit the farms animals, have lunch/dinner or some "Swedish fika" in the stone barn. The farms beautiful, newly renovated dining area, kitchen and conference hall are available for reservation all year round.

Julfika och hästmys i vintervackert landskap. Oerhört genuin lantkänsla, vackert dekorerat i restaurangen och ute. Värdparet tillika ägarna fantastiskt trevliga.

Our three year old boy thought this was a fun place eventhough he has visited really good water parks in Orlando before. We adults thought that the place needs a revamp. Very slippery floors., the hand rails need to be renovated, there are big spots in the roof caused by the humid environment. The burger joint just outside the bath was ok but expensive.

AlterHedens Farmshop and Rhubarb are situated at the old country store. Delicacies in a vast selection is available in the farm shop, many of them from own production. Arctic berries and Rhubarb is our speciality! Summertime, drop-in, rhubarb safari, Pitepalt, gahkkubaking. Other times guided tours can be booked for groups, see the website.
