I really enjoyed the challenge of hiking up to the Cave and for a km. inside the cave. I can't say enough about our wonderful guide, Michael, who helped me as an older person every step of the way. I have never experienced such care and concern from a guide; the cave is varied, unique, and special for the traveler. You have to wear a helmet with a light on its front to light your way. If you are able to hike, I would recommend this trip. I would not recommend it if you are walking or climbing challenged.

This is a relatively short hike into a cave and easy walking. It is a good experience for people who want to feel the reality of a cave but do not want to hike a long distance.

Only a short cave compared to the Cuevas de India. This was where the slaves hid. Good little show at the end, bit touristy, My guide used to work there so I got a bit extra. Buy some honey near the exit
