Mang Lang Church

Reviewed By thuhienp2017 - Hanoi, Vietnam

Mang Lang Church is one of the oldest church in Vietnam ( construct in 1892) which still keep its Gothic architecture in every detail. Location and transportation: The church is about 35km far from Tuy Hoa City. You can take the bus from Tuy Hoa to the triangle which is 15km far from the Church. The motorbike service will cost you around 10$ to visit both Mang Lang Church and "Ghềnh Đá Đĩa ". The other choice is riding your own/ rented motorbike. I was really lucky when was taken by a super nice motorbike driver. I forgot his name but he was really caring and introduce his hometown to me with all his heart and pride. His restaurant is at the triangle. When you get off the bus, you can see his shop easily What to see: The Gothic architect of this Church was so precious and well-kept. You can explore a stone culture which set out for thousand years in Phu Yen. Some antique vase designs inspired for the modern pottery maker a lot. Mang Lang Church is the place where keeps the first Vietnamese script by the Catholic Priest Alexandre de Rhodes in 1651 in Roma. The St. An-Andrew Phu Yen' Memorial is in the campus of Mang Lang Church If you are a history and architecture lover, this is a very highly recommended attraction for you. I will come back at the soonest time.

A place that we can merged yourself with the sea, winds and the sun. My friends and me come to there at about 2pm, it's so hot and dry, low humidity. We clim into the hill and get the panorama sights to the small island called Hon Yen where in the past the bird nested on there. What a wonderful sightseeing!
