What to do and see in Perth, Western Australia: The Best Shopping Malls

March 7, 2022 Carley Gatson

Perched on the banks of the wide Swan River, between the Indian Ocean and the sands of the Nullarbor Desert, Perth is one of the world's most isolated cities, yet still boasts an active beach scene and smokin’ nightlife. Family-friendly Cottesloe is brimming with swimmers, surfers and snorkelers. Head north to Scarborough for a spirited beachside club scene. Coo at cute marsupials on ferry-accessible Rottnest Island, and don’t miss the views from King's Park and Botanic Gardens.

Forrest Chase adjlons Forrest Place, which many people say is the heart of Perth. Forrest Place has been the scene of many allies and meetings, some of them rowdy. Forrest Place connects the Murray St Mall with the railway station in Wellington St. Opposite Forrest Chase are two grand old buildings built in Interwar Beaux-Arts style. The General Post Office (GPO ) and the Commonwealth Bank of Austrralia (CBA) buildings were once the commercial centre of Perth. Fortunately they have escaped the wreckers's hammer. You will also find the City of Perth Visitors Centre here.

DFO Perth

Reviewed By Chinlf

Our flight back home is at 9.30 pm, have 4 hours to spare at Perth international airport. How to kill time, perth airport have almost zero shops. I accidentally came to know about DFO mall with many retail shops from branded goods or local goods selling at a bargain. To go there is convenient, took the bus transfer to T3/T4 (20 mins), transfer to another bus which move around the carparks A, B, C and D. Drop at carpark D, and walk for 10 minutes and there the big shopping center, FOC. Save monies on taxi or uber which may 20$ one way.
