This museum is a go to place for WW1 history, how and why it all began is well explained using a mixture of film and words complimenting the displays of all the exhibits, generally all in French, English and German. There is a separate display explaining the history of the town within the museum. Tickets can be bought together here giving a discount on entry to the museum of Thiepval and there are discounts for over 65's. The museum has a nice cafe serving hot snacks and a Plat du jour all at reasonable price.
