Two and a half hours late departing Ancona to Igoumenitsa meant having to wait around the Ancona ferry Port marshalling area. It’s soulless. Poor facilities. Once on board parked in disabled space between garage and deck 7 entrance and lift. Cabin was deck 9. Small but adequate. Lots of accessible facilities on decks 10 and 11. All wheelchair accessible. We had drink and snacks, then a meal in the self service cafeteria. In the morning, after a reasonable sleep, we went up on open deck and watched the ferry slide between Greek Mainland and Corfu. Then into Igoumenitsa Port. Quick disembarkation, no queue to get through immigration and customs as Italy and Greece are both in the EU Schengen and Customs Union areas.
