Great piece of work in civil engineering, this tunnel was inaugurated by the hon'ble PM of India, Sh. Narendra Modi, this is approximately 9 KM which make the Jammu Srinagar highways (NH44) approx 50 KM shorter. Good experience....

We came to Katra only for vaishno devi visit. Our local driver told us about this temple. The moment i heard this, i just wanted to be there. As we went to Patani top first, it was a long drive from that place, but the roads were quite empty. The view was nice and scenic . Though the exterior of the temple looks like any other temple, yet the moment u see the Trishul of Bhagwan Shiv embedded in the ground in three pieces, u can feel the divinity of the place. The Pandit ji there told us about the statue of Ma parvati along with Brahma, Vishnu Mahesh, Nandi and Ganesh. I m totally blessed to visit this. Har Har Mahadev

Naag Mandir

The 600 year old ‘Nag Temple’, to honor the Serpent deity, is the only evidence to prove earlier in habitation at this place. Whenever you visit Patnitop keep Nag Devta Temple on your list to experience natures and gods magical pieces of life. The temple is very close to most of the hotels. You can spend 15-20 minutes here. Neat and clean place.
