This Museum shows first hand the ancient art of Patola weaving. It is a unique double Ikat style of weaving where the thread are dyed first as per the design and then the weaving happens. They will show you first hand a working loom. For 35 generations the Salvi family has been involved in this art. They have collected awards from work over and will show you fabrics that is more than a 200 years old. The cost of each saree or any other piece of cloth is high if you want to purchase it.

Beautiful historical place, a must visit sit in Gujarat. ASI has maintained it very well. It is seven storey building, each floor shows 1 lok, so in total seven lok.

I visited this place in October month. This place has entry ticket of 5 INR and once you enter, you will have to go through different segments where guide will introduce to you with history of each segment which is a part of magnificent past of Patan town. Worth to visit when you are in Patan. It is next to Rani ki vav (a UNESCO heritage site).
