I had only one afternoon in Quito to sightsee. I contacted Ecuador's Best Tour with late notice by email and Luis replied right away. Luis has a great laid back, no worries attitude and assured me he would take care of everything and pick me up at my hotel. He arrived early to pick me up. I was thrilled to visit the beautiful Church la Compania. Luis was very knowledgeable about the history of the church and architecture. Next we visited a beautiful view of the city with the statue Virgin of El Panecillo. I only had a few hours to visit and Ecuador's Best Tours really helped me make the most of my visit. I highly recommend booking this with this company and you will be lucky if Luis is your guide. His English is extraordinary and he's just a pleasant guide to be around. I have toured many places around the would and I would say Luis was one of the best guides I have encountered. I got some great photos from my visit and hope to return someday. I would certainly use Ecuador's Best Tours again.

Daniel was a great guide and the drive from Quito was beautiful. The thermal springs and spa itself were amazing! I did the 45 min deep body massage and I highly recommend. If you go on a weekend, I would recommend leaving early, Daniela will work with you to figure out what time you want to leave and how long you want to stay, he is very flexible. If you're interested in Spa treatments, I would schedule them in advance or as soon as you arrive so that you can get the time slot you want. I waited a few hours and it started to get a little more crowded (not full but there were others there) and I hate to wait til the afternoon for my massage. Overall, it was a very relaxing day.

This was our second day of a private tour with Santiago. Again we had a great trip. Santiago is a very enthusiastic guide, and an extremely well trained birder. He told us lots of interesting things about nature and culture in Ecuador. And, again, showed us lots of nice birds. It is a bit frustrating that he sees so many birds and we have to struggle to see them as well! But Santiago is very patient and puts on his telescope wherever he can, to give us a better view. The afternoon we spend in Guanco, in a hummingbird paradise. We also had a wonderful lunch. At the end of this excellent day, Santiago dropped us at our hostel in Quito. We can recommend travelling with a private guide. It is very relaxed, we saw a lot, could stop whenever we liked, and it is so nice to hear Santiago tell about Ecuador and his love for nature.

I met ñato on a bus while I was going to Riobamba, in an attempt to get to the Chimborazo reserve. He was traveling with a group and offered me the option to go with them, even if I wasn't going to climb. It was amazing, one of the best experiences of my life. The place is beautiful and Ñato is a super experience guide, he cooked the meals, and was really respectful and kind. I highly recommend any activity you do with him!!

Guido is a super kind guy that owns the business, he'll always have a smile on his face. His son Alexander is a Spanish teacher in Banos, and also part of the family business, so anything you need, he will always be happy to help. I rented a car, did the canopy tour and the bike tour that goes through all the waterfalls in the area (including pailón de diablo). All the equipment was really good and we had no problems at all. Highly recommended!

We had the best time canyoning with Ivaga! Alex and Chivito, our guides, were amazing. Super fun and so supportive! We did the Chamana Alta tour and it was well worth the price, although they're not kidding when they say extreme! Highly recommend for your trip to Banos.

Had a great time with this crew on the river. They're very knowledgeable about local indigenous life, river safety, and FUN! Mijo had a great way of creating a team vibe to get us all PUMPED about hitting big waves. Absolutely recommend these guys.
