I have visited this temple once with my hubby, and other time with my in laws & parents. Shri Marubai Gaondevi Mandir is a most powerful temple located at Matunga - suburb of Mumbai. Marudevi is a manifestation of Ashtabhuja Aadi Maya. The goddess is revered as a Family deity of Gavdevi village for more than 300 years. There is another small shrine located at back side for Lord Shiva, the temple atmosphere was tranquil. Offered our pranams to the deities.

The Lal Baug cha Raja ganpati is one of the famous ganpati's is whole of India. The decorations are very meticulously planned and the theme is different every year. The ganpati is very powerful and in the 11 days of this function yearly more than 15 to 20 lakh devotees take darshan of their beloved ganpati. If you are in mumbai during the ganpati season you just cannot miss this place. you will require 2-4 hours for completing the darshan process.
